The Wet Whistles
The Wet Whistles are coming to Blackall!!
The Wet Whistles' ‘stomp and holler’ country live shows have become synonymous with big nights and sore feet around the country. Guitarists Cailin Malley & Nick Trovas along with The Hill Brothers, Jordan and Jake on Percussion and Banjo gather new fans whenever they play live.
Not only are they all fabulous musicians but all four guys take it in turns singing lead and their superb creamy four part harmonies are developing as something of a Wet Whistles Trademark sound.Catch them both Friday & Saturday night - head to our program page for more details!

With a nickname like ‘Hot Magic Josh’, who wouldn’t be drawn in!
Australian Illusionist Josh Norbido isn’t just about magic; he’s about creating moments that leave your guests talking long after the event ends. With a blend of quick wit, sharp comedy, and mind-blowing illusions, Josh delivers an unforgettable experience.
As a semi-finalist on Australia’s Got Talent 2019, Manu Feildel declared, “What you do is impossible—it’s the best magic I have EVER seen!”

Brooke Falvey
A born storyteller, Brooke is a former journalist turned fashion editor, columnist and lifestyle blogger. Coined as Queensland’s answer to Carrie Bradshaw, Brookes colourful history includes everything from dinner with Dennis Rodman, to breaking a major story on the dangerous asbestos roofs in Queensland state schools, and even scoring a coveted invitation to a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace from Prince Harry himself.
This year Brooke will be drawing on her skills as a former court reporter (and true crime buff) by hosting a live interview with a former homicide detective, talking about some of his most famous cases.
Oh, and of course she will be hosting one of her always fun, and always fabulous styling workshops!

Mick Lindsay
Queensland country music star Mick Lindsay is hitting the stage! His refreshing brand of "Country-fried rock” is fast being recognised as his signature style with some serious musical chops to boot! As his enthusiastic and cheeky personality draws in revellers aged from 8 to 80, you’re guaranteed a great time and tasty music with his fresh, energetic flavour.

Matt Golinski
Well known as one of the original team members of the popular ‘Ready Steady Cook’ television series, Matt has worked as executive chef at some of Queensland’s leading restaurants and founded his own catering company.
Based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Matt now enjoys working as a consulting chef to restaurants, being a regular guest chef at festivals and events and writing his popular food columns and blog.
A ‘frequent flyer’ at the Better in Blackall Festival, Matt will be providing a fine dining experience at our opening night, as well as hosting his always sold out masterclass, and showcasing demonstrations in our gourmet Food & Beverage Pavilion.
